Our Story

Intoxication was established back in 2018 by Australian designer, Arnavaz Lindsay who had already established herself as a costumier and couturier of the Meanjin (Brisbane) burlesque communities. As someone who was known for her extravagant and lavish custom made pieces, Arnavaz decided to branch out and create an alternate label that was more accessible to dancers/performers of all levels and experiences.

It was here that Intoxication was born, a ready-to-wear lingerie label that provided sexy but comfortable lingerie bases for both stage and boudoir. Bases that could be transformed into something unique to the wearer through embellishing and the application of crystals. 

Immersed in a world of glamour and dance, Intoxication has continued to grow rapidly over the years and today is reaching a wider spectrum of clientele including but not limited to burlesque/striptease, showgirls, drag, kink, circus, sideshow and performance art.
